Department of Methodology and Informatics
Our department began its operations in the autumn semester of the 2016–2017 academic year. Our responsibilities include teaching subjects such as mathematics, informatics, operations research, and statistics across various programs at the university. In addition, we are responsible for the management of the Business Informatics bachelor’s program, higher education vocational training, and specialized postgraduate programs.
Fulfilling both of these responsibilities requires continuous renewal in terms of both content and methodology. Our department makes every effort to consistently meet these expectations.
As an illustration, the following two links demonstrate our department’s efforts toward the modernization of education.

The lecturers and researchers of the department aim to provide appropriate IT and methodological support for practical problems and real business situations related to the business world. Through methodological innovation, deep knowledge of the business environment, and related scientific activities, we support the realization of the educational profiles of undergraduate programs, higher education vocational training, and specialized postgraduate programs.
An important objective is to complement our teaching activities with scientific and professional contributions in order to ensure that the knowledge areas managed by the department are supported by a solid background knowledge base. Our goal is to provide practical knowledge that holds high priority in both the business and business informatics fields.
